Best from previous seasons (summer 2014)

Canon EOS adapted Minolta MD 35-70 f3.5 Maco zoom in 5k film scan.

This high resolution color negative film scan taken in summer 2014 shows how good lens Minolta MD 35-70 f3.5 Macro zoom is. Not only that, it also shows remarkable lens conversion designed and fabricated by Rokkorlab - converted zoom lens can be used together with all Canon EOS cameras (manual controls) without losing compatibility with original Minolta cameras. Here the lens was mated with Canon EF-M film body.

Stopped down to f5.6 image has consistent sharpness across the frame. 5.3k scan resolution was achieved when scanning of the film frame was divided into three segments. Scanned digital pieces were stitched together in Photoshop resulting in wonderful amount of Minolta zoom and film detail.
